It appears that the 2008 vehicle that Jim Pelster turned into a hood ornament isn't the first such attempt at autoshop art. I guess it begs the question even further about why no ticket. I suppose you get a free pass if you are a relative of someone powerful in the community.
Normally you have to wait later in the fall for FOG to move in, but it seems that the friends of Gary can permeate even the driest of seasons. True to form, not a single question from the Sun-Telegraph or KSquid or even the governmental loudmouth Tammy Nelson.
Correction, the FOGG, friends of Gary and Gaston. They seem to control everything right now.

Gary, Gaston, Neinhouser, trying to change the entire town to their perfect view and marketing opportunity. Now they want one of the chamber babes to sign on for COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR! Gee, a novel idea. Isn't that what caused the whole stir and ongoing persecution of Filsinger? Pearson can't do it all, but still wants CONTROL. Just move Erectile Development to the chamber babes. Bettin' they can take care of the city's ED problem! We're a fogg'n now!

ReplyDeleteHving said that, i find it a bit ironic at Gary gets paid a crap ton of money and wants to turn over any economic development activities to anyone else. Look for the other shoe to drop.. Such as additional funding requests from the chamber to assume these new activities
Full apologies to the women at the chamber office. They do a great job and SHOULD do economic development. Split the jobs and get a real city manager.
