What is wrong with enforcing the law?

States have historically adopted and codified federal law into state statues for decades. One such federal law, called the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction Act was a cornerstone federal law that set boundaries for establishing guideline rules and laws for the administration of justice for children in separated relationships. Almost every state in the nation has incorporated vast provisions within state law without any issues or complaint from anyone.

Now comes Arizona with a similar attempt to codify a federal law, this time immigration. Not only has the backlash been inflammatory in nature, the tone taken by Obama Administration officials borders (pun intended) on the insane.

We found out yesterday and today that neither the President's Attorney General, Eric Holder, nor Homeland Secretary, Janet Napolitano have even read the amended and signed law from the state which has the highest kidnapping rate on the continent after Mexico City. Even the UN has weighed in with "concerns" that the law might be misapplied and people "might" have their civil and human rights violated. City governments in L.A. and San Francisco, in typical left-wing fashion are talking loudly that they want to suspend or break existing contracts with businesses in the state of Arizona.

Even the President himself has spoken about and make jokes of Arizona during his annual White House Correspondents dinner last recently. His comment where he stated that "We all know what happens to people in Arizona without ID...Adios Amigos...." has further inflamed a situation where people believe what they want to believe, despite what the law actually says.

Attached herein is the bill, signed into law by Governor Jan Brewer in PDF form, optimized for your convenience. It is 13 pages long and will take all of about 30 minutes to read from front to back. It was apparently too much time out of the schedules of senior government leaders who loudly proclaimed innuendo as fact and have sought to make political hay out of the need for border states to ensure that their scarce financial resources are applied to legitimate citizens and legal resident aliens.

Anti-illegal immigration isn't anti-immigrant. The President and his cabinet, along with select members of the liberal wing of his Congress are smart enough to know the difference. They are hoping you are not.

Read the Bill..

  1. Please enforce the Law Arizona!
It is Arizona's duty, to see that my family and your family can visit Arizona and be safe. Arizona is sooooo overidden with illegals, that it is no longer safe for you & I to be there.
It can only increase their tourism to enforce these laws. These laws are not new, they are simply not being enforced. Someone is not doing their job, so now AZ is stepping up and doing it for them. This didn't occur overnight, they have been suffering for YEARS with illegals, and Arizona residents are paying the piper for it. They suffer the consequences more than anyone else. Their freedoms have been compromised and yet they stand strong and do it, because it's right. My corn fed Red Headed Nebraska boy went to college in Phoenix and was ID'd EVERYWHERE HE WENT! He couldn't pick up a money order without it, I couldn't even SEND money without producing MY ID!
Pain in the buttinsky, but we did it, cause it was the right thing to do! Go Arizona! Stand strong cause it's the right thing to do.
