If you are breaking the law, you should have a sense of humor about it

With the anticipated arrival of the revived series "V" the activists have come out in force. The show which is about aliens who land here and begin a quiet subterfuge against humanity, is starkly familiar to the US immigration policy
Immigration activists now are raising concerns about a costume that has made its way onto some store shelves. I would suggest you get one or make one up before they are all pulled, because it is hilarious.  It is called the Illegal Alien. The costume features an orage jumpsuit with an alien head and verbiage that says "Illegal Alien," in a prison guard style motif.

My personal opinion is that the costume, like many that make fun of current events, is meant to be funny. To those who have a problem with poking fun at those who have broken US law by being here I would say: Get over it. No one cares what you think!

I would suggest to you, if you feel so inclined to get online and order the costume from forum noveties as your own protest. A google search for illegal alien costume will pull up all kinds of info, including web stores who don't care that Target has pulled the item from its shelves.

Much like the Rush Limbaugh controversy last week, US businesses are caving to political pressure, instead of simply saying, you dont have a right to be un-offended in this country, especially if you shouldn't be here anyway.
